Eugene, OR – At 12:38 p.m., Eugene Springfield Fire was dispatched to a South Eugene residence on 24th Place after multiple reports of smoke coming from the roof.
Firefighters arrived within three minutes and determined there was an active fire on the first floor of the residence, with possible extension into the attic.
Crews forced access to the structure and advanced hose lines to extinguish the fire…
