EUGENE, Ore. — Back-to-school shopping is underway, and Valley River Center is giving shoppers a way to help local children while they check items off their own lists.
The shopping center’s third annual Back-to-School Giving Tree is collecting new clothing for children in foster care through Sept. 8. Donations benefit Every Child’s Brighter Side Clothing Closet.
