EUGENE, Ore. – Eugene police are investigating an armed robbery at a South Eugene bar where two masked gunmen forced employees to their knees and emptied cash registers and lottery machines, according to the Eugene Police Department.
EPD officials said officers responded to a bar on the 2800 block of Willamette Street at 2:51 a.m. on Sept. 11. One of the employees told police she was closing and cleaning when two men wearing masks came in with guns drawn and demanded she and another man get on their knees in the corner.
One suspect guarded the man while the other directed her to open the register, police said. Authorities said the suspect took the money and then asked for the keys to open the lottery machines.
