EUGENE, Ore. – Our Pet of the Week, String, is a young, petite, and adorable kitten who, while initially shy, loves to explore and play!
According to the Greenhill Humane Society, String warms up to her people with patience and gentle loving and would thrive in a home where she can continue to build confidence and enjoy her favorite activities. As she has fared well living with the cats in the past, String could very well thrive living with another feline friend following a slow introduction, or possibly with a calm doggy pal. String’s ideal family would have older kids or adults, given her timid nature, staffers tell us. Safe outdoor access, such as harness walks or a catio, would also be good features for her. Greenhill staff are prepared to discuss String’s medical needs with interested adopters. Her adoption fee includes her spay, vaccinations, microchip, a certificate for a free vet exam, post adoption support, and more.
String was this week’s Pet of the Week on KEZI 9 News. Every week, KEZI showcases a homeless pet during the 6 p.m. broadcast. If you are interested in String or the other animals at Greenhill Humane Society, more information is available here…
