EUGENE, Ore. — Eugene police arrested a Roseburg man Wednesday night after an officer reported seeing him fail to stop for pedestrians in a downtown crosswalk and drive through additional intersections without coming to a complete stop.
At about 9:36 p.m. Sept. 16, an officer saw a vehicle approaching the four-way stop at West Broadway and Willamette Street, according to the Eugene Police Department (EPD).
Police said pedestrians were in the crosswalk, but the vehicle continued through the intersection. The vehicle then went through two additional intersections without coming to a complete stop…
