Eugene man pleads guilty to $850,000 wire fraud targeting Newport lot owners

PORTLAND, Ore. — A Eugene, Oregon man pleaded guilty Monday to wire fraud, the U.S. Attorney’s Office’s Oregon District announced.

David Paul Williams, 46, pleaded guilty to defrauding several Newport, Oregon, property owners, announced U.S. Attorney Scott E. Bradford for the District of Oregon.
