EUGENE, OR — A woman was arrested early Monday after Eugene police said she sat in the roadway and tried to roll in front of a moving vehicle on West First Avenue.
At 12:40 a.m. Sept. 21, Eugene Police responded to a report of a woman in the roadway near Madison Street who was attempting to roll in front of a moving vehicle while laughing.
An officer arrived and found Amber Martinez, 39, sitting in the road with her legs crossed and blocking traffic. Police said the officer told Martinez to get out of the roadway, but she refused and pulled away when the officer tried to detain her…
