Fall is arriving in northwest Oregon with gusto. The area is forecast to see a storm that will bring heavy rain, strong winds and the potential for thunder Sept. 24 and 25.
The National Weather Service said in the Willamette Valley, rain will arrive between 6 and 11 p.m. Sept. 24, and continue on-and-off into the night of Sept. 25.
NWS doesn’t expect the storm to dump enough rain to cause flooding, but the area is expected to get a decent soaking. Eugene has a 33% chance of getting at least a half-inch and a 7% chance of at least 1 inch of rain…
