Oakshire Brewing will be closing all three of its Oregon taprooms and brewery after a tumultuous month of closing and reopening its Springfield pub.
In an Instagram post on Sept. 25, Oakshire Brewing announced the “painful” news, citing rising costs, increasing competition, lasting financial damage from the COVID-19 pandemic and changing habits in customers.
“We worked hard to adapt, but we can’t continue operating Oakshire as a whole,” the post, signed by owner Jeff Althouse, said. “To everyone who brewed our beer, served our community, worked together, or gathered in our spaces: thank you. You made Oakshire great.”…
