When Eugene-based nonprofit St. Vincent de Paul Society of Lane County bought Saginaw Mobile Home Park in 2017, it was in pretty rough shape, according to executive director Bethany Cartledge.
“A bunch of potholes in the road, really hard to drive,” she said. “You have to really watch where you’re going. Poor sanitation, failing infrastructure, a lot of dilapidated homes that really needed to be pulled out and replaced.”
St. Vincent de Paul owns and operates more than 1,400 affordable rental homes in five Oregon counties.
