The Oregon Ducks have 25 commitments in the 2027 class and are focusing much of their efforts ahead to the 2028 cycle. But on Friday, Oregon entered the mix for a Power 4 commit.
Denver (Colo.) Mullen High School three-star edge Troy Mailo announced an offer from the Ducks on Friday. He is currently committed to the Stanford Cardinal.
Mailo committed to the Cardinal on June 19 over finalists UCLA, Arizona and Arizona State. His 25 offers also include Michigan, Oklahoma, Utah, Washington and more. The Ducks are the first new offer since his commitment. While Oregon had not previously offered, edge coach Kamran Araghi conducted an in-home visit with Mailo in January.
Mailo has an 88 rating by 247Sports, ranking as the No. 53 edge nationally, No. 3 recruit in Colorado, and No. 701 overall prospect. He stands at 6-foot-3 and 252 lbs…
