Lane County’s first Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers will open its doors Oct. 13 in Springfield’s Gateway retail district, bringing the Louisiana-based chain’s cult favorite chicken fingers and an estimated 160 new jobs.
The new location, 2720 Gateway Street, will take over the Big 5 Sporting Goods site at The Shoppes at Gateway, near Target and Walmart. The company has not yet announced details for opening day events.
