CRESWELL, Ore. – The Lane County Sheriff’s Office is still looking for help identifying a vehicle involved in a fatal hit-and-run crash that happened Oct. 9.
According to LCSO officials, the suspect vehicle is described as a gray or silver small hatchback car with round taillights. The vehicle may have light damage to the front or driver side from the crash. The crash happened around 8:27 p.m. on River Drive near East Cloverdale Road, outside of Creswell. Deputies responded with South Lane Fire EMTs after reports that a vehicle struck a person and then left the scene.
The person hit by the vehicle did not survive. LCSO identified the person as 49-year-old Justin Dewayne Jones…
