EUGENE, Ore. – WNBA All-Star Sabrina Ionescu is teaming up with Market of Choice and Food for Lane County for their annual food drive to help fight hunger in the community.
Market of Choice is matching customer cash donations up to $10,000 at its four Eugene stores. Ionescu is adding a $5,000 match through the SI20 Foundation.
“SI20 Foundation also matches. As we match a $10,000, they’ll match a $5,000,” said Dewey Weddington, vice president of marketing at Market of Choice. “So between the two of us, we’re matching $15,000 of registered donations. Last year, that made a big difference. I mean, that was $30,000 that we easily hit, but we went beyond that and ended up a little over $51,000.”…
