A man being taken to a hospital in Eugene, Oregon, broke a window and climbed out of a moving ambulance Thursday morning, beginning an encounter with police that would take him from the roadway to an apartment roof.
The Eugene Police Department was called at 9:31 a.m. October 22 to help with a disorderly medical transport at West 7th Avenue and Washington Street. Mid Valley Ambulance reported that the man had climbed onto the ambulance’s roof.
