EUGENE MAN CITED FOR DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF INTOXICANTS

A Eugene man was cited by Roseburg Police for driving under the influence of intoxicants on Thursday night. An RPD report said just after 11:00 p.m. officers contacted the 21-year old during a traffic stop after observing the registration on the vehicle was expired. This took place in the 400 block of Northeast Stephens Street. The officer reportedly saw signs of impairment from the man. The driver consented to standard field sobriety tests and allegedly performed poorly. He was taken to corrections where he was processed for the charge.
