AUSTIN — According to reports from On3, Washington Huskies transfer cornerback Jabbar Muhammad, has committed to the Oregon Ducks.
He picked the Ducks over heavy pursuit from the Longhorns.
Muhammad began his career at Oklahoma State in 2020 and played three seasons in Stillwater before transferring to Washington last offseason. The DeSoto, Texas native put together the best season of his career with the Huskies, tallying 46 total tackles, two sacks, one fumble recovery, 14 passes defended, and three interceptions.
In Washington’s 37-31 win over Texas in the College Football Playoff at the Sugar Bowl, Muhammad finished with two total tackles and three passes defended.

In his collegiate career, Muhammad has posted 118 total tackles, 2.5 sacks, 26 passes defended, one forced fumble and four picks. He is 3-1 against Texas in his career but is now a Longhorn.
Jabbar is the cousin of Texas cornerback Malik Muhammad, who just finished his freshman year with the Longhorns.
