Project: Play — an interactive and family-friendly taproom providing meals, beverages and play zones for both kids and adults.

Location: 232 W. 5th Avenue, Eugene.

Eugenians can expect to add another versatile eatery to their outdoor dining schedules this spring with the addition of Play in the Whiteaker neighborhood.

Created by Eugene native Holly Muckerman, Play hopes to provide eats for families to enjoy alongside robust drink offerings. With 30+ beverages on tap, a full bar and a litany of non-alcoholic libations available, Play aims to serve a variety of foods and beverages to satiate any craving. And don’t forget the side of fun!

Muckerman said the inspiration for the multi-faceted space came from her own desire to find a space where she could enjoy a drink somewhere her kids are also welcome to be active and explore the space. She said Play is the kind of space her family would patron themselves.
