This week, the Springfield City Council is slated to discuss the boundaries of a proposed tax exemption to incentivize denser housing and hold a public hearing and vote on sending a road-repair bond to residents.

The Lane County Commission is scheduled to vote on a new paid leave program for county employees and hold a public hearing on the county’s floodway development rules.
