Fire hydrant damaged, driver hospitalized after two-vehicle crash

EUGENE, Ore. – A person was sent to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after a two-vehicle crash early Monday morning, Eugene police said. According to the Eugene Police Department, officers responded to a reported two-vehicle crash at west Seventh Avenue and Lincoln Street at about 5:01 a.m. on February 5. Police said they arrived to find a Honda Civic was entering the intersection on a green light turning to yellow when a Jeep Gladiator also entered the intersection on a red light.
