EUGENE, Ore. – On December 28th of 2023, the Eugene Weekly released a blog post entitled “Where’s the Damn Paper?” explaining that the locally owned and operated publication had been embezzled, and was going to have to stop printing the paper for the first time in over 20 years. Now, over a month and a half later, the paper is set to return, thanks largely in part to the community support the paper received over that timespan.
