EUGENE, Ore. – Eugene Police stopped a wrong-way bicyclist on Tuesday, ultimately leading to a seizure of more than 100 grams of methamphetamine. According to the Eugene Police Department (EPD), around 8:30 p.m. on February 6, 2024, a patrol officer with the department was out on West 6th Ave. and Garfield Street when he and his field training officer spotted a bicyclist riding the wrong way on the road and without proper lights, presenting a safety issue for him and others on the road.
