A man from Drain was jailed by the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office after allegedly resisting arrest early Thursday. A report from DCSO released on Monday said at 1:10 a.m. a deputy observed the 36- year-old allegedly walking in the middle of the road in the 200 block of John Long Road at Rice Hill. The deputy knew the man was on probation and his conditions were not to use or possess drugs.
