A pedestrian died when struck late Friday night on the eastbound Randy Papé Beltline Highway near the exit to southbound Interstate 5, Eugene Police said Saturday.
A motorhome driver told investigators they had been driving in the middle lane of the highway at 11:45 p.m. and struck the person, a police press release said. The driver remained on the scene and cooperated with officers.
The pedestrian’s identity is being withheld until family can be notified.
