San Diego State Softball Falls Short in Close Games Against Texas A&M and Oregon

SAN DIEGO – San Diego State lost a pair of close games on the second day of the 33rd annual Campbell/Cartier Classic Saturday night at SDSU Softball Stadium. The Aztecs (4-5) were edged by rv/No. 25 Texas A&M, 1-0, in the opener before falling to No. 17/14 Oregon, 2-0, in the nightcap. SDSU received superb pitching from the trio of Allie Light, Cece Cellura and Dee Dee Hernandez, but on offensive managed only two hits over the two shutout losses.
