EUGENE, Ore – An elderly Eugene couple faced a terrifying ordeal when a phone scammer posed as a Lane County Sheriff. Arly Knight was directed to withdraw $4,500 on a Saturday morning… and deposit it at a coin-cashing machine called Coinstar. The scammers even sent a fake arrest warrant……
