It’s looked hazy today, but all that is is high clouds ahead of tonight’s storm. Rain arrives tonight, but it’s really out by Thursday afternoon. It will be a rainy night and morning commute into Thursday, but clearing skies and drying ground is likely towards the evening. It’s really Friday’s storm that’ll be a doozy with wet weather for Thursday short-lived. Friday night and into Saturday, a strong area of low pressure now in the Gulf of Alaska will dive south bringing a potent atmospheric river, “firehose of moisture” out of the tropics and aimed right at the Oregon Coast. Storm passes by Sunday and what’s left is scattered showers and sunbreaks for next week. No completely dry day for next 7 days.
