Emergency personnel respond to multiple back-to-back critical incidents

EUGENE, Ore. – Multiple critical incidents kept emergency responders busy on Saturday afternoon, according to Eugene Springfield Fire officials. ESF officials said that emergency personnel were dispatched to three incidents within about a 10-minute span of time beginning shortly before 2 p.m. on June 29. At 1:54 p.m., fire officials responded to a non-injury motor vehicle crash in which firefighters arrived to find a car engulfed in flames with fire spreading to nearby grass, fire officials said. ESF authorities said that the grass fire was contained to a small area.
