Dakorien Moore, Five-Star Wide Receiver, Announces College Commitment

Dan Lanning and his Oregon staff created even more fireworks on Thursday after five-star wide receiver prospect Dakorien Moore announced his commitment to the Ducks.

Moore is a consensus five-star, rated as the No. 3 overall prospect on ESPN’s top 300.

The Texas native was originally committed to LSU in August of last year but decommitted back in May.

Besides LSU, Oregon also beat out Texas and Ohio State for Moore.

Moore’s addition now gives the Ducks the No. 3 ranked recruiting class in the country for 2025 with their 15 commits. Moore is the third five-star to commit in this year’s class, the others being wide receiver Dallas Wilson and cornerback Dorian Brew.

“I love how open I can be when I’m out there,” Moore said back in May at the On3 Elite Series. “Their uniforms and their style, they’re just different. It’s unique, and it’s not really comparable to any other school I’m looking at. I just think they have great coaches in general. Coach Lanning knows how to judge people, and he is a good judge of character. And he’s really good at building relationships and getting people to trust him. I feel like that reels the great players in. And with Coach Adams, he’s just a well-rounded good coach, good mentor and a good person to be around.
