SPRINGFIELD, Ore. – Fire crews responded to a house fire in east Springfield late on Monday night, Eugene Springfield Fire shared on Tuesday. On August 26, 2024, at approximately 10:50 crews were alerted to the fire in the 100 block of 51st Street. Callers were reporting a fire in the back yard of the property, extending to the deck.
