Oregon’s outside linebacker room was one of the bigger surprises and talents from a defense that saw immense improvement from the 2022 season. The group, led by chiseled veteran Mase Funa, saw four youngsters take over a significant portion of the snap load. Redshirt freshman Emar’rion Winston, coupled with Matayo Uiagalelei, Blake Purchase, and Teitum Tuioti, all freshmen, were critical parts of every game.
