A 43-year-old mother was arrested on Monday after her 8-year-old child dialed 911 from the backseat of the woman’s moving car, Springfield police said. Officers stopped Camie Colleen Sorensen, 43, of Prineville, after her child told a 911 dispatcher that Sorensen was driving her Subaru recklessly and looking for “water to drive into,” according to a statement from police.
