EUGENE, Ore. – There is still time to register for the annual 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb at Autzen Stadium next Wednesday. The climb is a tribute to the hundreds of first responders and military personnel who lost their lives 23 years ago at the World Trade Center and Pentagon during the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001. The climb route at Autzen Stadium is equivalent to 110 stories, the height of the World Trade Center towers. The climb is not open to the public – only first responders and military personnel, as well as their immediate family members, are invited to climb.
