Cooling trend into Saturday with increasing clouds and improving air quality

Holden LeCroy: Cooling trend into Saturday with increasing clouds and improving air quality… eventually showers next Wednesday. Low pressure approaching offshore is headed our way expected to shift our pattern. Unfortunately, that will bring the possibility of a couple of thunderstorms in the Cascades Friday and Saturday. Not a great chance, but definitely there. By next week, a couple more cold fronts will approach (mainly dry) but chipping away at high pressure and weakening it. By Wednesday, this will usher in a stronger fall cold front. Capable of producing wet weather for Wednesday and high temperatures in the 60s-70s. Past Wednesday, we start to dry out, but temperatures remain mild in the mid to upper-70s. Warmest areas being Southern Oregon at no more than 85-degrees.
