An Alaskan Husky mix, a ‘working’ cat, and a bonded pair of cats are up for adoption

Frontier is a 1-year-old Alaskan Husky mix who would make a great hiking partner.

She came into the shelter under socialized and unsure of her new surroundings but after lots of love and care, she has blossomed into a wonderful dog. Frontier is looking for a patient family that will allow her the time to warm up and trust them.

“She has an infectious smile and a very goofy side,” said Samantha Schwartz, spokesperson for the Greenhill Humane Society.

Frontier loves romping around with other dogs and should have a slow, supervised introduction to any cat friends. She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines.

Greenhill Humane Society isĀ open seven days a week, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 88530 Green Hill Rd in Eugene. For more information call (541) 689.1503 or visit www.green-hill.org .

Stony is 7 years old and is described by staff at the Oregon Coast Humane Society as a “very nice boy.”

He’s been “working” at some local businesses in Florence and making lots of friends. Stony is great in the car on his way to work and has the potential to make a great adventure cat with harness and leash training.
