Ducks offensive lineman talks about part of transition to Dillon Gabriel that ‘people don’t really take into consideration’

Oregon has a new signal caller this year in Dillon Gabriel , but there are plenty of comparisons to draw between he and last year’s quarterback Bo Nix . A year after Oregon fans saw Nix set an FBS record while leading the nation with a 77.4% completion percentage, Gabriel currently leads the country in the same category at 84%.

Dylan, he had a lot to figure out, like play style, his new teammates – there’s all these small intangibles that people don’t really take into consideration, but they make the biggest difference.”

“When we talk about a quarterback being a commander, or like the face of your offense, the face of your team, those small intangibles are huge. Those first couple weeks, you just kind of see that he was just still ironing out some of those things like that,” Harper continued.
