Ohio State star playmaker has already admitted he has extra motivation against Oregon on Saturday

It is officially a huge week for the Ohio State Buckeyes, and their toughest game of the season perhaps with a trip to Oregon on the schedule.

It will be a No. 2 vs. No. 3 battle in Eugene, Oregon on Saturday night. In Oregon’s first season on the Big Ten, the Buckeyes and Ducks will battle it out as two of the best teams in the country.

One player who is from the west coast is looking forward to the game, and perhaps even has found himself some extra motivation.

“Going over to the Pacific Northwest is a homecoming game for me, being from Washington,” wide receiver Emeka Egbuka said after beating Iowa. “This is the kind of game you dream about when you commit to Ohio State. We’re excited to welcome them to the Big Ten.”

Egbuka has played in his fair share of big games while in Columbus, but this one could be as big as any to him. The future NFL wideout was the No. 1 wide receiver in the class of 2021 out of the state of Washington.

After last season, Egbuka very well could have gone pro but instead opted to return to Columbus for another season . It just may pay off with a National Championship for him. So far this season, Egbuka already has 433 receiving yards and five touchdowns. He is well on his way to clearing his best season of 1,151 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns. Egbuka had three touchdowns against Iowa .
