Steve Wiltfong Predicts Massive Five-Star Commitment for Oregon

On3 Vice President Steve Wiltfong logged an important expert recruiting prediction on Monday, projecting that five-star class of 2026 edge Zion Elee would eventually commit to Oregon.

Wiltfong claims that the Ducks have been in constant contact with Elee, who’s already visited Eugene multiple times and said positive things about the program in the past.

Standing at 6-foot-4, 220 pounds, Elee is currently listed as the top-ranked player in his class and holds a total of 35 offers from schools like Alabama, Georgia and Tennessee. Still, Wiltfong is confident in his commitment to Oregon.

Each of On3’s “expert predictions” are presented with a “confidence level” on a percentage scale. Wiltfong’s Elee prediction was listed at 60% confidence.

Since joining the staff at On3, Wiltfong has been correct on 345-of-372, or 92.74% of his predictions. In other words, his prediction on Monday is a good sign for Duck fans and their class of 2026.

As it stands, Oregon holds the No. 1 class of 2026 in the nation according to On3. A commitment from Elee would only extend its lead on the top spot.
