Eugene man facing multiple charges following three-vehicle crash that injured two

EUGENE, Ore. – A 57-year-old Eugene man was arrested on multiple charges following a three-vehicle crash on Coburg Road on Wednesday afternoon, according to the Eugene Police Department.

EPD officials said that they responded at about 4:18 p.m. on January 22 to a three-vehicle crash on northbound Coburg Road near Rustic Place. A Honda Odyssey driven by a 68-year-old woman was stopped in traffic behind a Nissan Rogue when it was rearended by an Oldsmobile Bravada, driven by Patrick Frederick McColligan, police said. Authorities said the Honda then struck the Nissan from behind. The driver of the Nissan and McColligan’s passenger, a 52-year-old woman, were transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, Eugene police said. Eugene police officials said they determined with additional investigation that McColligan that McColligan did not have a driver’s license, had been cited on January 9 for driving while suspended, and had a warrant out of Florence for driving while suspended…
