REI Co-op announces expansion, relocation plans in Eugene

Outdoor specialist retailer REI Co-op announced its plan Wednesday to relocate to a larger site in Eugene in 2026. REI Co-op has been operating in the historic Eugene Planing Mill Building at 306 Lawrence St. since 1992, offering expert advice and a range of items for all kinds of outdoor activities. In early 2026, REI plans to relocate to the Oakway Center for more space. Plans for a broader selection of footwear, cycling and camping departments are set.
