Eugene, OR – A winter storm is set to bring freezing rain, ice, and snow to central and southern Willamette Valley beginning Wednesday night. The National Weather Service warns that hazardous road conditions and power outages are possible through Friday morning.

According to the National Weather Service, precipitation will start as mixed freezing rain and snow Wednesday night, transitioning to freezing rain on Thursday. Total snow accumulation could reach an inch, with ice buildup of up to a quarter-inch.
