Rogue Cow Mooooooves Through Eugene Neighborhood

Eugene, Ore. – Eugene Police were forced into a little cowboy work Tuesday, after a cow was found running loose in a neighborhood. Reports indicate the cow fell out of a trailer, unbeknownst to the driver, in the area of 36th Ave. and Willamette Street.

Two women corralled the cow into a nearby yard. However, it escaped just as a EPD Community Service Officer arrived on-scene. He gave chase and was able to secure the cow, now nicknamed “Houdini,” in another backyard. Lane County Animal Welfare transported the cow to a safe location…
