Early Calm, Low Level Snow, Mountain Hazards

Good Morning. As of 440 am we are in a bubble of low activity, so the early morning will be calm. Temps start lower than yesterday with mid to high 30’s as the norm. These lower morning temps will lead into the next significant part of today’s weather story. A system and its associated front are currently to our South. As we move into the mid morning, that system will begin its march North and start to impact the forecast area. Through 10 am, this will bring elevated chances for snowfall to the Valley and Basin. Low level accumulations are non existent, but snowflakes will be visible. After that, the rest of the day will be rainy as the system continues to drag activity in.
