Medford, OR – A high wind warning is in effect for the South Central Oregon Coast and Curry County Coast, with wind gusts expected to reach 70 mph from Saturday evening through Sunday morning.
According to the National Weather Service in Medford, the warning will remain in place from 5 p.m. Saturday until 11 a.m. Sunday. The affected areas include Port Orford, Nesika Beach, Gold Beach, Cape Blanco, and Pistol River. Exposed portions of Highway 101 may experience hazardous driving conditions.
