Box cutter attack at Albany truck stop leads to prison for Las Vegas man

A 35-year-old Nevada man who was training to become a truck driver was sentenced to prison for slashing his instructor with a box knife at an Albany-area truck stop.

Jaylon Marquise Gatlin, a Las Vegas resident, was charged with felony counts of second-degree assault and unlawful use of a weapon in December 2023.
