EUGENE, Ore. – A 22-year-old Eugene man was arrested on Friday on 13 counts of child pornography-related charges, according to the Eugene Police Department.
EPD officials said that their violent crimes unit received tips from the National Center for Missing and Endangered Children of videos depicting the sexual abuse of young children being downloaded over the course of a year at an address on Irwin Way. A search warrant was served on the morning of March 14 at the home, where police said several people lived. An investigation of the residence led to the identification of Kolton Warren Schneider as a suspect, police said. Eugene police officials said that police and members of the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force searched the home and arrested Schneider without incident.
