Good Morning. Today is special. We are at the final day of our unseasonable warming spell. With that, we will likely once again see a handful of high temperature records tied or or broken. We are starting the morning warm and will end up somewhere in the 70’s inland. This unusual heat is going to serve to make the next part of the day even more interesting. The day will start summery with another morning of beautiful sunshine and light winds. The next phase of the day begins with the arrival of a cold system. Cold air will mash into the region around the early afternoon and plunge the area into the some of the highest instability we have seen in many years. With that, severe thunderstorms will begin to generate around 2 pm but will see their highest chances around 4. Golf ball sized hail…..
