Authorities uncover hazardous THC extraction lab during Eugene drug bust

EUGENE, Ore. — Deputies and detectives with the Lane County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) were on the scene of an illegal drug manufacturing operation Wednesday morning.

According to LCSO, the bust was the result of a months-long investigation led by detectives with the sheriff’s office, following the collection of evidence during prior investigations into illegal marijuana grows and THC manufacturing facilities.

During the investigation, Vu Hong Nguyen, 45, of Troutdale, and Arthur Scott Ingersoll, 64, of Eugene, were arrested and issued criminal citations in lieu of custody on charges of Unlawful Manufacture of Cannabinoid / Marijuana Item and Criminal Conspiracy…
