Salem man faces multiple charges after meth and gun found during traffic stop arrest

SALEM, Ore. (KATU) — A routine traffic stop in north Salem early this morning resulted in the arrest of a man and the seizure of drugs and a gun, according to police.

Around 2:30 a.m., a Salem Police officer stopped a car with three people inside near Silverton Road and Lana Avenue NE. The driver, Michael Martin Trevino, 37, was found to have an outstanding warrant and was driving without a license. He was taken into custody.
