EUGENE, Ore. – Lane County sheriff’s deputies and emergency personnel responded to a reported gunshot victim in the Crow area early this morning.
Deputies with the Lane County Sheriff’s Office were called to an address on Sundown Drive early on the morning of April 2 for a report of a person with a gunshot wound. According to the Fire and EMS CAD logs, fire and medic personnel were dispatched at 4:11 a.m. and met the victim at the intersection of Crow Road and Cougar Lane.
Lane County Sheriff’s Office deputies said they were dispatched to the property at about 3:30 a.m., and found the victim had in fact been shot several times with a self-defense less lethal pistol, and had suffered significant injuries. The victim later went to the hospital for treatment of his injuries…
